Why does google chrome keep taking me to this?
Every time i open Google chrome or even a new tab, it takes me to the new tab like its supposed to but than it takes me to this http://www.browse-search.com/?st=nt&q= which i don't even know what it is. its some weird search engine i've never heard of before and no matter what i do it keeps taking me to it when i open a tab. i can actually press the back button and go to the blank tab like i wanted to, and even tho my search engine is set to be Google it takes me to that.

You probably have a browser hijacker.

You may be able to get rid of it by using the control panel -> programs & features. Look through that for anything that doesn't belong or that you don't need anymore.

Also, in the browser, open the add-ons/extensions and see if there is anything there which doesn't belong and you don't need or want. Do the same for the search sites: remove any you don't want and set the default to what you want it to be. Also, check and reset your home page to whatever you want it to be.

Finally, you should consider running an anti-spy program like Adaware or Spybot Search & Destroy. Both programs have a free and paid version and do a great job at removing spyware.

Find your "control panel". Then go to "uninstall a program" in the bottom left of your control panel options. Look for anything that is not suppose to be there. Once found, right click, "Uninstall"

Or go to your chrome extensions and see if you have anything that you don't want.
