Is this a connection or Router Problem?
Hi,

I have a problem with internet connection. Every now and then, (it can happen up to every 10 minutes, but more frequently it's about once or twice an hour) the internet will just stop. I'll lose connection and it'll take 2-5 mins to get back. This is really annoying.

I've tried direct-connecting to the router itself, and it's somewhat better, but still has these annoying issues.

Internet speed is usually about 1.3 up and 11.5 down. When it's at it's most laggy and unusable (but not totally disconnected) it dips to around 0.3 up and 0.9 down.

Before spending money on anything, I want to figure out if this is a problem with the modem or with the internet itself? Thanks!
