Is there a way to get rid of the new privacy control alert in Facebook?

It's really annoying everytime i go to change my status and that thing just keeps popping up even though i've already clicked on it and stuff.. I just feel like smacking the owner for not making it so easy/obvious to stop it from popping up again >.<
