Do i get a notification on instagram?

Hey, I commented on this person's Instagram picture (i'm following her) and she replied back and tagged my username but she is not following me back. My question is "Do I get a notification from someone who comments and tag me but doesn't follow back?" I hope you get what i'm trying to day here. Sorry if i'm not clear enough.

Yeah i get what your trying to day .. You do get notifications even if that person is not following you or even if you arent following them... Long as they type your name correctly.. Otherwise someone else will get the notification..
