Why would an EX want to be a PART OF YOUR life in any way possible?

My ex just became best friends with my cousin and has him on his Facebook pic. I just found out (yes I creeped lol). He didn't know my cousin before so I don't think my cousin knows but ex does.

I was told my ex 'knows what he's doing' and that he wants to be a part of my life in any way possible. My ex is a jerk and I dumped him and this is random. He may be trying to piss me off but still. Can u explain?

Btw, it's really ironic. Cuz a week after we broke up, I put up a photo as My profile pic with my cuz, so he Knows. And I'm not fb friends with either one of them.

I don't know who told you that, but becoming best friends with your cousin is a bit overboard if it was about you. There has to be something the two of them have in common, because it's not like your cousin is a fool, right? I would assume he would choose a best friend with whom he felt an actual affinity, correct? My guess is that the initial contact with your cousin may have been because of you, but I seriously doubt that's what the friendship is all about.
