When do I have to ship an item on ebay if someone buys it?

I just bought cheap headphones on ebay, and want to sell them on ebay for a higher price. The item has shipped and will be at my house in 5 days. Can I post my ad up for them now? Or do I have to on friday.Thanks

Just be patient and wait for your item before trying to sell.

In my opinion, you should wait for the arrival of the item. If you post the advertisement now, and if it is sold immediately, then what will you do so, be patient.

it would be better t post it when you have the item. but if you use the 7 day auction option you can lost right now and (hopefully) have plenty of time for the headphones to get to your house. (monday is a holiday so it might be more the 4 days)

How can you take a picture of what you don't have? You can't use the sellers photo

Wait until you have the item in hand. There is no guarantee that you will receive the headphones at all, and if so, that they work and didn't get smashed in transit. You need to verify this before listing the item.
