Why wont google chrome work?

Ive downloaded and installed google chrome a bunch of times because after i install it , when i click on the google chrome button nothing happens. So i delete it and download it agian but still nothing works.

I think your PC is virus infected.

Try updating your computer to the latest software. Also make sure you're downloading directly from Google, not from a third-party site.

Make sure you are downloading from the official site

http://www.google.com/chrome

It may also be worth switching off your security while installing.

Make sure you are uninstalling and not deleting the shortcut only. Then try to re-install via the official website. Also, note that Google Chrome doesn't get installed into your Program Files folder, but rather it gets installed into your Windows User Profile, so multiple users on a computer will need to install Chrome once for each user. This isn't an issue if your computer only has one user account.
