My toshiba laptop sees my home router but doesn't connect to the internet?

I have a toshiba, windows 7 laptop.
I can't connect to the internet whenever i click on my home router??
I've seen all the threads.
Please help, this is so frustrating.

Hi There,
Windows 7 has a very good network troubleshooter that actually works.
Just right-click on the wireless icon at the bottom and select "Troublshoot problems".
That will open up an app that will diagnose your network connection.
On the next page select the one for connecting to the internet and follow the directions.
This procedure usually works for me.
