My friend is really sensitive and clingy?

My friend is really sensitive and clingy?
I'm friends with this girl, I'll call her Emma. She's really funny and cool to hang out with, but sometimes she gets mad at me really easily. I moved to where I am now about a year ago, and my best friend, let's call her Ally, lived in my previous area. Whenever I try to talk about Ally to Emma or I upload a profile picture of Ally and I, Emma gets really upset. She starts crying and gets mad at me and says things like "no one loves me enough to be best friends with me" and "I guess I'm not good enough to be your best friend". It really upsets me. Also at school, little things like me scoring better on a test or me not wanting to go with her to the cafeteria to get something make her really upset and she gets all mad at me for practically no reason. She calls me every single day after school and sometimes I don't really want to talk for whatever reason. But it makes me feel like I can't text other people or tweet or whatever because she stalks my Twitter and Instagram. Besides her being so sensitive all the time, though, she's actually a pretty good friend. How can I resolve the little issues we have? I don't want to dump her.

She is really insecure.

She values her friendship with you but she needs a lot of reassurance.

Just be really complimentary of her and be sure to post photos of you and her and say "the greatest friend EVER!" or things like that on the photos. And if she starts crying or gets mad just tell her that it is not her fault, that you love her to pieces and would never want her to think otherwise, that she means a lot to you.
