why can't i add this one person on facebook?

The add button is completely gone, in the past we've added each other but than got into an argument and stopped talking for a year and i tried adding her again during that year but she rejected it. Now that we've made up I can not see the add button her profile, but others can? did she block me from adding her? it's weird because I still see her profile.
no I figured it out, it's because she had "friends of friends" as the only ones who can add her. whew. thnx anyway.
