Nothing has a domain name unless the owner registers one. They also need to subscribe to a staitc IP address to use one.

Domain names reside on DNS servers, not individual computers. Your computer has an IP address that the internet identifies.

No, every computer connected does NOT have a domain name. Domain names are for servers (which host websites). Putting this aside though, every computer has something called a MAC address (MAC has nothing to do with Apple, it's just an acronym). The MAC address, or sometimes called the hardware address, is the address of your computer. This is how websites and other computers know that your computer is yours.

No, first of all you must know what is domain name.
Suppose, I am creating one website, and I am making
it as web server. Now, suppose I want to publish that
server in public, so for that I will install active directory
on that web server and I will also use dns for converting
IP to name and name to IP. And after making it, we will
be able to access that site by giving that server a public
IP address. In short after giving domain name use internet
connection and firewall to publish your web server in public.
So, this way only websites has domain name and not computers
have.

The network runs on 1.IP address 2.Domain names

Every network component has a IP address. Every server, PC,MAC, etc.

When it comes to website, IP address of the server where its hosted is know as, DOMAIN name

Not every computer has a domain name. Work stations and home PCs usually do not. But servers usually do. Note: servers arn't limited to being web servers. There can be FTP servers mail servers, etc. They can all have domain names.

Just as in the real world people have home addresses or telephone numbers that others can use to contact them, every system connected to the Internet or to a particular network has its own unique INTERNET PROTOCOL address or IP address. Your IP address is the address to which data should be sent to ensure that it reaches your system. An IP address is to a computer on the Internet what your telephone no. or mobile no. is to you in the real world. In the same way that you do not give out your telephone or mobile no. to every single stranger that you meet, all efforts must be made to protect your IP address from getting into the bad guy's hands.

An IP address is a 32-bit decimal number.
For example : 255.255.255.255 OR 206.190.36.45

DNS-Domain Name System- If an IP address is represented i the form of recognizable characters and names (for e.g. http://www.yahoo.com), then it is said to be in the form of DNS.

Every DNS or website has its own IP address. We can convert a DNS IP address into a Normal IP Address. We can easily get the IP address of a domain by various methods, such as WHOIS, netstat, ping, traceroute, and so on. Here, I have used ping to get the IP address :

Step 1 : Open Run Dialog Box and type cmd.
Step 2 : Then it opens DOS window.
Step 3 : Type ---- ping http://www.yahoo.com
C:\Users\Joker>ping http://www.yahoo.com
Pinging yahoo.com [206.190.36.45] with 32 bytes of data:
... ... ... ... ...
... ... ... ... ...

Thank You
