I am an accountant in Toronto, Canada. My question: Is google adwords is worth to increase my business?
I am a Chartered Accountant practicing in Toronto, Canada and was wondering if google adwords is worth considering as a medium of advertisement in my line of business. I would appreciate if some one who is an accountant or similar kind of service business to share his/her experience.
I will really appreciate input on this topic.
Thanks

It can get quite expensive and needs some skills sand experimentation to make a profitable campaign, it can be geo targeted to just people within driving distance, the right sponsored search keywords can deliver qualified prospects actively seeking services. There are coupons in circulation that match a $25 deposit with a $100 credit.

It's certainly worth first having a free Google local (map) places page which is relatively easy to get into local search results, (Bing and Yahoo have similar listings. http://Google.com/placesforbusiness/

Facebook paid ads provide unique detailed demographic matching and can target individual cities, having a free Facebook business page makes sense, but perhaps a bit more for branding and PR, it's not the best venu for hared sales.

Short Answer = NO!

Long Answer = there are many better and CHEAPER ways to market a local business that either you can do or hire someone (stay @ home mom/hubby) to do the work for you as a VA.
