Is this dress too much for prom?
All of the people who are going to my junior prom have started a group on facebook where we post our dresses so that no one wears the same one and/or to get feedback on the ones we are ordering. Most of my friends' dresses have a back that is covered, so I'm worried that mine might be a little too scandalous for my prom.

I haven't ordered it yet because I'm too worried, but out of all my options, this one was my favorite by far! So I want your opinions please! And if you do think it is a bit over the top, do you have any other suggestions?

It's pretty but it's very club style, I would go with something more elegant, it's prom not home coming. Hope you find that perfect dress! Smile

Check out these pages too! See a few that I think may be the look you are going for! There are also a vary in prices. There are some that are reasonably priced.

I don't this dress is too much for prom. As prom is a day where girls can dress up and look hot. I would say this dress isn't too much. But It's simple and gorgeous.

I think that dress is great! While others tend to be more, for the lack of a better word, dressy, this dress is more casual elegant. You will have the heads turning and in the best of ways. It is different from the typical prom dress but that, in my personal opinion, is better.

this is an awesome dress elegant and stylish, the back is fine it is tailored and shipped neatly and looks a good length of a slit. the back isn't scandalous but if you are worried ask your friends for an opinion. but i personally think this is a perfect dress.
Smile xx

I think it's so nice! I'm graduating this year from high school and would definitely wear something like this, except I look awful in white hahah. Everyone will wear something different. Some girls will come in $600 dresses to their ankles, and some will come dressed very casually. It's not too scandalous at all. The back may be open, but is an elegant cut, and is not trashy looking at all. Hope this helps! The dress is stunning, I say go for it!

Its a really pretty dress.
Its just to casual for pro., you're going to want something elegant. My prom was 3 years ago and my dress was a one shoulder and crossed in the back with diamonds. You should try something more formal. That dress would be more of a homecoming dress.

Agree with Jennifer and Cori above. It's a lovely dress but maybe a little casual for prom. I personally love pastel colored long length dress for prom, like this one. Big Grin
