Is this a way of getting good feedback on Ebay?
I have been contacted from a person who I have bought off from Ebay and paid through Paypal.

He claimes he is a new Ebayer and Paypal will not pass on the money to him unless I give a good feedback?
Is this true? or is this his way of getting 100% good feedback?
Falsi Fiable, I AM the buyer but the seller said he has to have good feedback from me before Paypal will give him the money I have sent.

Do not give feedback until 30 days after completing the transaction.

If buyer refuses to pay, file a complaint. If he gets too many complaints, eBay will bar him for life.

He is obviously trying to raise his positive feedback as there is no such thing as paypal not paying him till he has good feedback.

However if you have received the item and are happy with it, I don't see why you should not give him good feedback. As for someone above who says you should only give good feedback after 30 days, that is total nonsense. Normal people give positive feedback after they receive the item and have tested it to see that it works properly.

Paypal withholds a new seller's money for 21 days, UNLESS they can be sure the deal has completed satisfactorily.

Paypal will automatically release the funds to the seller after 21 days if the buyer hasn't reported a problem.

If he's a new seller, he may either not realise he just has to wait 21 days; or (understandably!) be keen to access his funds more quickly - hence the request for positive feedback. If you're happy, why not say so? If you aren't, message him and let him know.
