Is there such thing as a site where you can text random people?

Yes, there are.Two sites I know of are Chatroulette and Omegle. You can "text" random people whom you may have something in common with and they won't know who you are.

Beware, though, with any chatting site. There are some strange people out there who do some pretty disgusting things. I'd stay away from talking to them via webcam. Also, remember to not give out any information such as your name, phone number, email address, Facebook, Twitter, or where you live.

You can search for other chat rooms, too. Just search it on Google. There are some chat rooms where you can still "text random people," but it's monitored so nothing bad happens.
