anyone experiencing problems with the google chrome?
i had to uninstall google chrome because it doesnt load certain websites properly (like yahoo). It wouldnt show certain stuff, or it wouldnt load properly certain stuff (like my yahoo mail), and it didnt really work well with facebook either. Wondering if anyone's on the same boat or if there's anything i can do to fix it? I had to resort to firefox, and firefox doesnt run that fast on my laptop (compared to how google chrome runs).
yeah, that's what i'm assuming, what i dont get is why lol, i've been using it on the same laptop for over 2 in a half years and this never happened until a few days ago (didnt download anything). i've reinstalled it multiple times lol Ads |

Seems like a hardware issue. If it isn't, I think you should report to Google about it. I have Chrome on multiple computers and they all work fine for me.
Also, try reinstalling it. You stated you only uninstalled it, why not give it another chance? It could have been that the settings on it were messed up; a reinstallation would make the settings normal again. ----- Yeah I don't understand it either, and this computer is actually about 7 years old and it's running fine. I would report to Google about it. |

Chrome has multiple issues. Did you know the browser has always been in Beta version which notifies that there could be unknown issues for which Google is not responsible. The browser looks sleek and fast. Recently, I have discovered that it uses more system resources and can also slow down your computer at times. I still trust Firefox for any secure transactions including banking and important online stuff. Firefox has matured and most of the past issues have been fixed. I use chrome for regular browsing once a while. Check the below link and you will see the 'Alpha' version was never available LOL

Try clearing your internet cache. Press Ctrl+Shift+Delete.
If that didn't work, try resetting your Google Chrome. Exit Google Chrome and Open Windows Explorer. For Windows XP, in the Address box, type the following and press enter: %USERPROFILE% \ Local Settings \ Application Data \ Google \ Chrome \ Application Remove the SPACEs before and after the "\". I put them there because Y!A would not allow long words here. Or go to C: > Documents and Settings > YourUserName > Local Settings > Application Data > Google > Chrome > Application Delete the zero byte file named "First Run". For Windows Vista or 7, in the Address box, type the following and press enter: %LOCALAPPDATA% \ Google \ Chrome \ Application Remove the SPACEs before and after the "\". I put them there because Y!A would not allow long words here. Or go to C: > Users > YourUserName > AppData > Local > Google > Chrome > Application Delete the zero byte file named "First Run". |
