Computer Help!?
My parents gave me a Toshiba laptop a couple months ago and at first it was working fine, but now it seems everything is wrong. Pop-ups always seem to come up on clothing websites that never did before, even though my pop-up blocker is on. And it always come up with a little box that says "Internet has stopped working" multiple times even though its fine. Im getting very frustrated and I don't know what to do. ive done security scans that Microsoft has but nothing every really happens or they freeze in the middle of it. I don't know what else to do and my last resort is paying money to get it fixed because I will be getting a new one in a couple months. I just need this one to work NOW. If any of you could help, you might be a real life saver! PLEASE im desperate!!!

Sounds like malware, adware ETC you should do a PC scan with Malwarebytes and see what to do, first scan then click see results, next check the boxes of the files that the program has flagged, finally click the clean/remove button and reboot your laptop. Also download Adblock for firefox chrome and internet explorer. Before you install the Adblock I would recommend checking the settings of your web browser, and look at the add ons and search engines and change them to your preference. If that doesn't work restart or restore defaults of the web browser and then close the browser and then install Adblock but first use Malwarebytes and do the scan.

hope this helps

first download the internet browser that you're using.
next, uninstall your internet browser and software that you're not using, (click on windows> and click on control panel> click on program> then click uninstall a program).
only uninstall program that you KNOW and you also know that you DON'T NEED IT, because pop-ups usually comes with something that we only install because, maybe we didn't see it properly in the installing bar that you need to install exp: install mywebsearch. that's an example
