She may be saying the same about you.
Why don't you ask her about it?
Maybe she doesn't think you want to be her FB friend.
If you want add her and then ask her why she didn't respond to you. That is the most way to find these things out. She may be jelly of you and your parents relationship. She may assume you know her business already. It is impossible to know based on limited information. Always ask.
