Ethernet or DSL wire?

Ok guys I'm getting new internet in 1 week and I want to be prepared it runs through my telephone hub and it's pretty far from my room I want to put a wired connection to my xbox would I be better getting another telephone hub in my room or running another 25ft ethernet or 25ft telephone wire I'm ok running a long cable but which one has a higher Performance

well if you pull it cat5e it wont matter whether its phone or ethernet. yes you can hook up cat5e as phone line.

You should use ethernet - that is the faster connection. Be sure that it is either CAT5e or even better, CAT6. I suggest looking at monoprice.com for great cable at good prices.
