How do I stop people from automatically adding me to groups on facebook?

I got a lot of people adding me to their groups without my permission. This is part of the new layout for groups and in the old layout, you were invited, not forced to join. What's the matter with you, Facebook, are you crazy or something??????

There's no option to stop people from adding you to their group. All you can do is leave the group whenever you're added. Let them know you don't want to be added to their group then leave. If they keep on adding you, you can report them to facebook. Just make sure you keep a proof that you have asked them not to add you anymore
