Question on firefox and google chrome?
I know google chrome saves your searches when your logged on to your account, they keep them for around 2 years or something, anyway, my question is does mozilla fire fox do the same? What does google even do with the stuff you type in?

The last time I looked at the FAQ for the Google privacy policy on Google's website (sometime in January) it stated that Google anonymizes IP addresses that relate to search queries after 9 months. However, it does not say anything about that anymore; the length of time they keep search logs has been removed completely.

Logs are kept when you use Google to search, it doesn't matter which browser you use, except that Google Chrome can send searches to Google (or another search provider) as you type them into the address bar (before you've pressed the enter key).
