Putting an ad in a hotel?

How much would it cost to place an ad/brochure/pamphlet for tourists in a hotel/motel etc? I see these huge racks all over the place but have never figured out how much it would cost to place some of our material in one. I am really interested to find out so any help would be awesome. Thank you.

There is obviously no standard or average cost.

If there's a company name or number on the rack, contact them and ask.

If not, ask the hotel manager.

I'm sure the cost varies a lot, anywhere from free (since some hotels may just want stuff there so they look useful), to expensive (because it's in a popular area).
