R&S users. What are you favorite sites to visit when surfing the net?
I visit Yahoo Q&A, Facebook, YouTube and sometimes, Soda head.
What about you ? Thanks in advance for your answers. @Wayf: Yes, you're correct. I'm a little bored. This is not normally my normal line of questioning. Ads |

Reddit, Taste of Home, The Walking Dead, Pinterest, National Geographic, Smithsonian, USA Today, and Discovery are some favorites.
I rarely visit Youtube, and don't use Facebook, nor do I tweet. |

I go to NBC.com and watch my soap opera a few times per week. I also like Youtube. I like various religious sites to learn more about different religions. I also like CNN, the weather channel website, and AlterNet. I guess these are my favorites. I also use Wiki a lot.

I just read your other question about being happy - was considering answering when I saw this.
I get the impression you're kinda bored (could be wrong, but I'm just going with that for now). I look at all kinds of things, however I have a little "game" I play sometimes when I want to "expand" my horizons and have nothing else to do... I go to Google Maps and find a place in the world I know little about and think would be interesting to visit, based on my limited knowledge and its geographical location . The first thing I do is find a place to "stay" - as if I'm actually going to go there. I explore the options and almost every good hotel site has a section for local things to do/see. This can helpful. Otherwise, I use Google and TripAdvisor. I also look up general information about the place I've chosen - literally learn about it. By the time I'm done I know a great deal about someplace in the world I didn't know much about to start with. I may never go there, but that's okay. I've learned something new and been entertained. That's the point. One other thing - most non-Islamic countries have the Google Maps street level feature - always fun, I think. It's neat to see what other places look like. Places like Rome are especially cool to see from street level. I'm sure I'm not the only person to do this, but if you're bored and want something to do that is both educational and entertaining, it can be fun. If you hate travelling and geography, you might nix the idea. |
