Had a great first date with him after speaking for a month and a bit...he was very sweet and told me he felt so comfortable around me..we kissed also. I text afterwards saying it would be nice to see him again and he told me to hit him up when I'm next in his area. He went on holiday 2 days later, we sms'd inbetween. I text him the night before saying have a good time, speak soon, bye etc and expected no reply, but he sms'd me on the plane right before flying saying speak soon have a good week xx. He went offline but then reappeared 2 days after arriving and I haven't heard from him but I didn't reply to his last message...Am I being paranoid? what do I do? Is he playing it cool and not wanting to look too clingy? I want to sms him but I don't know if it's wise..HELP please

Well if you didn't reply to his text then maybe you should answer it and talk to him like you want? I bet he's been waiting for a reply since he got back online, and since you're online but not talking to him, it might look like you're ignoring him because of the earlier unanswered text.

I went overseas for Christmas break a few years ago and my boyfriend at the time and I were jokingly arguing about what I would get him for a Christmas present, I teased that I wouldn't get him anything and the last message I got from him was "That's mean " I didn't reply for the three weeks because I thought he'd say something more, and when I got back, he ignored me for weeks before changing his facebook status from "In a relationship" to "Single".

I think he likes you alot and doesn't want to screw something up, so he's playing it cool, he doesn't want you to be annoyed, besides, texting someone is not your first priority on a vacacion.
