What Do I need to start playing multiplayer in the PS3?
Im getting a PS3 (IK ps4 came out but ps3 in cheaper still and play station said they will continue to release games for ps3) and I want to play games like Cod Ghosts, battlefield etc... online. Im still new to this gaming community so what will I need?
Is this all I need?

1.Ps3
2.Game
3. Controller (comes with console)
4.Headset
5. Internet connection

Is there anything else I need?

And another question is what else comes with the initial console besides form the controller? Do you get chargers etc...?

Thanks!!!!

You need to set up a PSN account. YouTube should help you with that.

You have everything you need there other than a PSN account which you can get for free when you've set up your PS3. The PS3 comes with everything it needs in the box although you would be better with an HDMI cable (Sold separately) if you have an HD TV that has an HDMI slot.

When you boot up your PS3 it will have you make a PlayStation Network account. That's about all you need to play online. I'd recommend getting PS Plus though, Metro Last Light, BioShock Infinite, Remember me and I think Borderlands 2 are still free right now but won't be for long. In March we get Tomb Raider 2013 and a few others. It's $50 a year and is honestly much better than Xbox Live Gold. It's not required to play PS3 online though, however it is on PS4.

You get one charging cable with the purchase of a console. Oddly enough, you don't get additional cables when buying a new controller, but the cable is a simple USB to mini-USB cable so you can buy them pretty cheap. I'd recommend buying a charging station though. DualShock 3s last around 10 hours per charge, and take 1-3 hours to charge.
