My iPhone won't let me clear my history?

Okay so I have the iPhone 5C,
And when I go to clear my History off of Safari, It won't let me :/
The buttons like a light see through grey and it won't let me click it >.<

Help?!?!

Are you trying to clear your history on the Safari app, or in settings?

If you can't clear it while in the app, try going into your settings and clearing it.

To do this you: Go to the "Settings" application, scroll down to "Safari", select it, and then scroll down until you find the "Clear History" bar, tap the tab to clear your history.

If you are having trouble clearing your history in settings, then try clearing it in the Safari App.

To do this open the Safari App, tap the open book icon, select the "History" tab, tap the "Clear" tab in the bottom right hand corner.

If you still can't clear it, try reseting your iPhone.
