How do I uninstall snap.do?
I open google chrome and everything is fine but when I go into a new tab, there it is, snap.do.
I've tried going in to the control panel and uninstalling it but it's not there, neither it resoft. This is really annoying, even when I change my default browser to google, it stays snap.do. HELP!!! Ads |

snap.do usually comes with shareware from site like cnet etc.
Snap.do will often have rootkits installed in your Windows temp or App Data folders. It also reconfigures the browser script changing homepage, default search etc. Without knowing the program it was distributed with follow this guide: scan your system with Malwarebytes or something similar to determine if any rootkits are present. Clean if present. Follow the following steps to reset your Chrome browser. https://support.google.com/chrome/answer/3296214?hl=en Ads |

You might be infected by the snap.do adware and was directed to Search.Snapdo.com every time you open a new tab. Check your installed web browsers and remove all the malicious/unknown extensions immediately.
