I am using windows 7. I was told to use safari for I am getting 502 and 504 messages on chrome. also firefox keeps crashing. the problem is I am confused as to which one to choose for windows 7. Also how do I respond t people? thanks

504 errors are from the website hosting, they generally mean you are trying to go to an invalid url or access a file that is no longer or never on their site
502 errors are 1) your ISP has a major equipment failure/overload or 2) there is something wrong with your internal Internet connection e.g. your firewall is not functioning correctly. In the first case, only your ISP can help you. In the second case, you need to fix whatever it is that is preventing you reaching the Internet.
