I don't understand lifehacker.com. How do you even find articles on this site...?
I love almost every article I read from lifehacker.com (though, usually, the ones I read are found by searching for specifics) but the problem is that there's no sorting/categorization/topic component to the website where I can find similar articles to the one I just read, or browse all articles in certain categories, or search by popularity/date/views/etc.

I do not understand this website. All I see is: a few "Popular Stories" on the left, which I can't click/scroll through to see more of; I see a "LH" button that just directs me to other sites... I see two circle icons, both of which just pop up a "share on facebook/twitter" crap message; I see a "trending on related blogs" section (with only ONE article) and again I can't scroll/click for more; as for the links at the bottom, their "about" page is just a list of their staff, their "help" page links to an entirely different website and didn't help me solve this question, and the other links at the bottom (privacy, terms of use, permissions, etc.) aren't relevant. That's it. That is everything on their website's main page, except for the search field which leads to unsortable search results which also do not seem remotely related to what you typed in the search field.

Can someone explain this website to me? It seems pretty popular, yet when I search places like Reddit and Google for other people discussing lifehacks.com, no one else seems to be puzzled and frustrated by this completely useless basic site design.

I really like LifeHacker but it does seem to be run by anarchists. There never seems to be any system to the way it is setup, fairly free form.

I just click here and there unless I want something in particular and then I use the search.
