Using A friends Wireless Internet connection?!.. Please Help?

I have a laptop which is not wireless.. But I am about to go to a friends who has wireless internet connection, And I was wondering if it is possible to take my laptop over and be able to use my computer with her wireless internet, Or would I have to take all of the hook ups and connections that I have to get internet to her house also.?..Help greatly needed and as soon as possible.Thanks!!

Yeah you can use her wireless internet connection. When you get to hers, go to the icon where you connect to the internet. It's in the bottom right-hand corner. Click it and a box should come up saying connect to a network. Click that and find her network. Connect to it. If it asks for a password, ask her for it and then put it in and voila. :]
