Virgin media internet and phone line?

Want to upgrade my internet speed so will virgin just upgrade it or will they have to come out and give me a new router and do you have to have a phone line because want are phone line taken out because I don't use I just my mobile

if you already have the superhub router then virgin can do it from there end if its a old router then they will have to come out and install the superhub and you dont have to have the phoneline you can cancel it but check as if you have full package like i do then they may tell you it will cost more as you havent got a bundle no more
