Is there a maximum limit to the number of Facebook Friends that one can have?
If there is a limit, I imagine its over 3,000, because I have a friend who has 2,900 friends.

I believe the limit is 3,000 or 3,500. At that point, when any tries to add that person it will say the maximum limit has been reached.

According to this news article, there are no limits any longer and they were originally 5000.

However, there is a limit on how many friends you can have in a friend list, which is 1000 (as per facebook help)
