How to create wifi hotspot using connectify? What are the hardware requirements?

I have connectify software in Desktop, What hardware do I need to create a wifi hotspot? Is it a wifi adaptor?
Is only wifi adaptor enough or do I need some network card in my cpu? Where can I buy wifi adaptor online ? I dont even know how it looks like...Pls giv the link where i could get it online or its image.................. thank you
I have MTS data card can I use it or should I get wired internet connection

You should have a wired internet connection to share internet through Connectify.
Procedure is
1. Get connected to Internet through cable
2. Have a Wireless Adapter and turn on WiFi
3. Install and run connectify.setup the password
4. Connect the devices which you want to share Internet
