Limited Internet Access?
My internet is usually fine - full bars - sometimes my housemates are getting limited internet access, they see full bars, but they just can't get online, I do sometimes have this problem but it's rare - maybe a couple of times a week, and it lasts for a few seconds.

I have been blamed for sucking up the internet (lol) and/or damaging the cable to the router - which runs through my room. Please help.

When I get Limited Access on my computer I click the Icon and turn connection off and then click name of supplier and click Auto Connect and click Connect and always fixes it.

When it happens try next:
1.restart computer
2.REset modem and router.Unplug both.Plug-in modem first.Wait one minute and plug-in router and wait another 30 seconds
3.right click on the icon Wireless Network Connections.On drop-down menu left click Repair.

WiFi is a two way radio system, and as the router has a much stronger signal than the adapter that it has to talk to in the PC you and they may well be seeing five bars for the signal from the router on the device, but that does not mean that the return signal from the devices back to the router will be adequate.
It may be affected by distance, but more likely in your case, interference from nearby devices sending out radio signals on a similar frequency, particularly as it seems to be intermittent and short lived.
Cables do not go faulty then magically repair themselves almost immediately so that is out of the question.
Have a look at the advice in the link below, you may want to have a look into what the router suffix is, B G or N, and then what that suffix is on each of the devices, as the suffixes are backwardly compatible and will cause the router to slow down to the slowest device connected automatically;

You can also use a parabolic reflector to concentrate the routers directional capabilities;

Or even try a change of channel.
Regards, Bob.
