Firefox doesn't respond to certain sites?
I use firefox. Personally, I feel like it's the best, fastest browser, but for months now Firefox has been acting up. For instance, most of the time this happens with Facebook. It will load the page but the page will be in a different format than what it is supposed to be. The best way to describe the format is that the webpage looks like it has a layout from the 90's. It's not very user friendly. Usually, when this happens I got to the troubleshooting page and reset firefox and that fixes it until I close my browser and reopen it. Then, the same thing happens and I have to reset firefox again. Other times it won't let me watch video. It will play audio but the image will be a "green screen" shade of green or it will be very pixel-y and unrecognizable. Sometimes it's very random. It just chooses a specific website to not respond to. Today it wouldn't let me visit Stumbleupon. It's finnicky. I've done everything. I have to reset Firefox almost every time I use the browser, and when that doesn't work I have to uninstall Firefox and reinstall it. It's a recurring problem and those are all temporary fixes so I'm assuming it's got something to do with my computer (I have a Samsung Notebook model np365e5c with Windows 8, had it for about a year). And I like Firefox very much, or else I wouldn't be going through all this trouble. So if anyone knows what the problem could be, I'll try anything and everything to get this to work. I'm also considering calling Samsung tech help or something like that. Idk. I'm not good at this technology stuff. I've wanted to chuck my computer across the room so many times now, and I'm getting a little frustrated.

Check your firewall. Are the parental restrictions on? Clear the cache and cookies, and make sure Firefox is updated to its latest version. Try bringing it to a friends house and use their WiFi, and if your problem continues on a different WiFi connection, its a hardware issue. Hope I've helped.
