google chrome and no sound?

I have had google chrome on my pc for a while with no problem. now it's 2 days that sound is dead on it. I can have sound on IE and it works properly but it seems that google chrome is mute in a way. what is the solution, plz??
I've reinstalled chrome but it didn't work.

Google Chrome may have become corrupt. If you must have it, I'd remove it completely and reinstall. If the reinstall works, that was probably the case. Personally, I'd use Firefox instead. Remove Google Chrome before going to IE and downloading Firefox.
