Would I get internet without a connection?
Ok so I'm go contract so from now on I will be topping up my phone would I still be able to surf the web when I'm not at home where there is internet connection??

Yes, many public places have open Wifi

Coffee shops
Book stores
Library...

Many support free wifi to the internet, some you will have to provide a receipt.
