ugh. facebook. Why is it such a big deal?

Okkkk this is such a freaking ridiculously stupid question ahaa sorry. But on Facebook all of my friends take pictures of them self's for a profile picture right? And get like 60 likes.. Pfhh but i hate taking pictures in general and i always over think crap. But i really want a new picture on my profile picture because the one i have now is me and my friend and i look mental. Anyways im real worried if people will laugh or give me crap cause its a bad picture or im "trying to hard". Or nobody at all will comment or like. And im sure it makes me sound like i care a bunch of what people think and i guess in a way i do i really wish i didn't but, i do. And im not the type of girl to upload pictures at all. And my whole family's on facebook to... Im not sure? Am i nuts? What should i do?

I know what you mean. Uploading pics on Facebook just for a bunch of likes & comments is kinda being 'cheap' to me. And for some girls it is a big deal. But you're making it a big deal too. So what if you have less likes or comments? It doesn't really matter.
And if you don't want to upload, then don't. I've been in fb like almost 3 years and I've never uploaded a pic of mine because I don't think its safe. Or just my personal choice. Just be who YOU are, you don't need to always go with the flow...
