Older guy asked to add me on FB but won't reply?
My cousin and I were out in a different part of the country last weekend. On the way home, we bumped into a guy and decided to go back to his "house party" (dont judge, I know its not the safest, but my big cousin decided). My cousin walked off with the guy we were talking to, so I was left with his friend. At first, he just reminded me of a cute guy you'd have as a friend cause he was so friendly. We hit it off IMMEDIATELY and we fell behind my cousin and the other guy because we were talking and messing so much, and even had our arms around each other.
When we got back to the other guy's apartment, we were just chatting and joking the whole night. Then I found out he was 27 (Im 18). For ages, my cousin kept talking about how young I was etc. At one stage, she said something about him just agreeing with me because he liked me and he said that it was true!
Finally, he kind of got quiet and decided he was going home and went to the front door and hung around there for a while while my cousin and the other guy were telling me I should kiss him etc.
A few minutes later, the guy came back in and ended up staying longer but he went outside with the other guy to talk (my cousin said it was about me and that she thought he was scared because he liked me but I was so much younger than him).
Anyway, after this, the guy and I ended up chilling for longer and he asked to add me on Facebook. So when we decided to go, the other guy was at the door saying bye to my cousin and trying to kiss her so me and my guy as usual were messing and decided to go around the corner to give them "privacy". Around there, we kept peeking at the other 2 and just generally joking.
Then suddenly, we were talking and he just started kissing me. It was really lovely and then he told me he wish that he had met me earlier in the night.
So then when we left with my cousin, he came with us to get a taxi. At the taxi, he gave my cousin a hug and she walked off. He then came over to me and gave me a kiss and a hug and shouted after me saying that we'll meet up again sometime.

Now I'm the other side of the country (it's not exactly far away as I live in Ireland) and I cant stop thinking about him. He was lovely and what I look for in a guy. My friend and mam told me to just say hi to him when he's online on Facebook and after being terrified, I finally just did it. I just said "hey Smile". He didnt see it for a few hours but then it said he did see it and he hasnt replied yet even though hes online most days. I sent that message about 4 days ago.

Do you think he just adds everyone he meets? (he has 600 fb friends) What if he thinks I'm too young? What if he doesnt want to talk to me again? What do I do? Why did he ask for my FB/ show interest in me and now hes not even replying?

For some reason, I feel really awkward/ needy just because I feel rejected. All I did though was say hey to him becasue he was online...

This is really annoying me. What do I do now?

THANKS FOR READING! Smile

Try saying something more than just "Hey".

Strike up a conversation with him. "Hey" is a good start, but following it up with "haven't heard from you in a while and wanted to chat with you". or, "How's life been? What have you been up to?"

Anything but just, "Hey".

that makes it automatically sound like your encounter with him was just awkward through and through.

As far as the amount of FB friends, it might mean he just adds everyone he meets, but I wouldn't say he would want to add you if you weren't the least bit interesting.

Build that connection with him. Just don't expect it to happen overnight.
