GIRLS, I'm CLUELESS: Caught eye across the room and she winks at me, among other things, what does that mean?
Busted this girl checking me out like 20 times during a meeting at University... she would either look away or we would stare... later that night, she found an excuse to message me on Facebook for the first time. We had talked previously, but since then she seems awkward around me. Tonight was another event that we were both at... my friend caught her looking at me 5-7 times in two minutes, constantly glancing at me. I looked over at her across the room and caught her looking and she winked at me and smiled and gestured for me to come over and dance with her (it's a group dance though)... she did that a couple of times. When we do talk in person, it always kind of feels "awkward" , sometimes feels like she's "ignoring" me. This girl is not a "flirt" or type to lead guys on - she is very modest and grounded.

What do you think? Is there any way she is NOT doing this out of interest?

If she's glancing your way and trying to look at you, she definitely likes you. Girls don't do something like that at least 5 times unless they're interested. However, I think she just feels really awkward talking to you because she likes you so much (you said she's not a flirt, so I'm guessing she's not used to liking guys and them liking her back). Try to get to know her a little better, see if she's looking for a boyfriend, and go for it!

P.S. I've shown the signs before to a guy that supposedly means the girl wants to date, but I never wanted to date him. I just really wanted to be his friend. That's why I say that you should see if she wants a boyfriend, because if you ask her and she says no, it'll be really awkward unless the two of you care enough to patch things back up.

Why are you so paranoid over some girl liking you? If you were interested in her, then GO ASK HER OUT! Instead of sitting behind your computer and posting the same question about the same thing OVER and OVER again. It's pretty pathetic.

A girl looking at you doesn't means she likes you. And a lot of times when people are "awkward" its because they don't want to be talking to you in the first place.

There is a very high chance that she doesn't like you Smile
