Should I tell my lecturer about this?
I'm supposed to be doing a presentation assignment for college and we're working in groups. I don't know the guy i'm working with personally so we've been communicating via facebook and email.
However a problem has occurred. For the past couple days he hasn't been replying to my messages and didn't turn up for college on Friday. There is rumors that he's deliberately trying to get kicked off the course too. I don't want my grades to be jeopardized just because this kid isn't putting the effort in.
It's like he's deliberately trying to be an a$$hole. I want to talk to my lecturer but don't want to be seen as a snitch. What do I do?

I think your lecturer will expect a contribution from both of you toward the assignment. If you only complete your part then the assignment's not finished and you may well lose marks. On the other hand, if you complete the whole assignment yourself to get full marks, you will likely need to explain why you did it all yourself, then the fact that the other guy didn't help you will become known.

I think it's better to tell your lecturer now so that you can discover whether you are expected to finish the whole assignment by yourself or only the part assigned to you. I don't think it's a matter of snitching because the other guy is affecting your assessment marks and you shouldn't let someone else's crap attitude drag your result down.
