ok so i play farmville with some of my friends and i get fan page/group requests from groups that promise free farmville cash if you become a fan or join and then invite all your friends. i don't get it, their all fake. their disappointing thousands of people. i've tried a couple out of curiosity before but they didn't work. why do people create this fan pages/groups???

They do this just to attract fans of the game to their pages.

Its just basic advertising to attract non-farmers to join; I get a ton of those. I play FarmVille but have no belief these will work so I stopped adding them. The farmville invites you have to send to even possibly get 100 free FV cash just piss off nonfarmers, so yes. Its just to attract non farmers to start playing with the fake promise of free cash/coins.
