I feel so lonely. Have you ever felt like this?
I'm 15, and I'm home schooled, but I do have friends.
But sometimes I feel like I've hardly got any.
I feel so down and lonely.
I go on Facebook, no one talks to me, likes, or comments.
But then I see other people, and they get like 100 comments, and loads of likes.
I see groups of friends hanging out on the weekends, and I rarely have plans.
Everyone says I have loads of friends,
But I still feel so lonely.
How can I meet some more people?
I'm a bit self conscious in public, and sometimes a bit shy (which is understandable, I'm home schooled don't forget).
Have you ever felt like this?
Thanks for answering.

Yeah, I understand that feeling. Try to initiate plans with people more often, talk to new people, maybe delete facebook, I think it's toxic as far as trying not to feel lonely goes, it always made me feel worse too.

I feel like this all the time. Get your friends to let u met their other friends so u can try make friends. Also going to an actual school can help get more friends. It'll help u socialise.
Hope it helps. Smile

I can certainly understand your loneliness. I know there's activities for kids who are home schooled. Are you involved in any of them? How about sports? Are you interested in, say, softball or soccer? How about a YMCA? I think you could meet people there and find something to do that you would have in common with other kids. They also ask for volunteers for their events.

Sadly the only place to make friends/relationships most of the time is school. This is just the way society and those who run it force it to be. But even so I don't think there are any proven benefits from home schooling.
