Should I delete my Facebook friends that I don't know personally?
I have about 3,200 friends on Facebook right now, and I don't know in real life most of them. Help me decide whether I should delete or keep them.

i would just delete them since you never met them before. plus, how many status updates do u really need/want to see every day (or however often u check facebook) on ur newsfeed??

YES! Because when you post things like "graduation tomorrow, so excited!" or "Getting to see dad in the hospital today, miss him lots"....You don't want random stranger to be reading that, you want close friends who'll care to be seeing it on the wall.

Yes, I had an account with over 1000 people before of mostly people who I didn't even know. I can tell you now that this has usually led to extreme awkwardness when replying, interacting or even being online especially if the people you have added only has a few friends, a news-feed constantly being filled with crap you don't want to hear about and overall - spam. Just delete them, it makes no sense even having added them or them adding you in the first place.

I would delete them. You never know what nutters are out there making notes about what you are up to.

It's safer just to share stuff with people you know and trust.
