do it? some of these old facebook groups have millions of people in them...cleary the old one was more favored...so why won't they switch back?

i wish they would. i hate the new facebook. if you were new to facebook i cant imagine how lost you would be with the new layout. the old layout was so much simpler.

yeah the old facebook was better, but i still think its ridiculous that people make or join groups called : "JOIN THIS GROUP AND WE WILL GURANTEE THE OLD FACEBOOK BACK FOR YOU"

No I don't think they will, they put a lot of money and effort into the new design and its saving them a lot of space, they trialled it for a while with some volunteers and asked for feedback, it never gave the option of keeping the old one so they obviously were never planning to go back. Everyone can get used to it - after all we all did with the old version, but they just need to give it a chance and make an effort really!! :-)

I HIGHLY doubt it.
They probably put a lot of money into it and won't change it back. In my opinion its nicer, more compact, and loads faster. It just takes a little getting used to. |

No. They have ignored the Groups and went ahead to implementing the new layout. I highly doubt the Groups will have ANY impact of their decision at all.
They claimed that MORE users preferred the new layout but who knows if that's really true or not? |

At this point, it is unknown if the protest groups will have any effect on changes at Facebook. However if you are unhappy with the changes made I suggest you consider joining one or more of the groups. At least facebook will have to acknowledge that there is a large group of unhappy users.
Also, the larger groups are now attracting media attention as several online articles have been published about them. If the groups keep growing then I think the media can't ignore the story. |
