I go to college and I met a girl recently. I am friends with her roommate and just passed by their room to say "hi." As I was walking her roommate stops me and says "wait, I haven't met you yet." She walked right up to the door way and we talked for about a minute. Then I had to go. I saw her two other times on campus. Both times she said hi to me but she looks really happy and excited to see me. Also after our first convo that was literally a minute she added me on Facebook the following day. This is all of the interaction I've had with her so far.

There was one weird thing though. We were sitting outside somewhere and some of her guy friends were teasing her about calling her boyfriend. She was just laughing about it. On Facebook though it says she's single on her profile.

It's a new semister at school. She may not know that many people yet. Stop thinking with your small head and look at the fact she might just be a friendly person who happens to be the roomate of a personal friend of yours. If she was interested, her roomate (your friend) would have told you.

she sounds like she's kinda like you.. but i suggest that you try to observe consistent girly flirty signs. if she's always have this wide smiles, bit of twirling hair, lightly or gently touching you on the arm.. looking coy (just some of the obvious flirting signs) in the future then she might be interested in you. if friends are already teasing her when you're around, that's a good sign too that she might be interested in you.

okay well, maayyybee but not necessarily. that girl kinda sounds like someone like me.

I don't mean to flirt or lead guys on, but I'm naturally friendly and outgoing, and I like to get to know people, so if a friend of mine knows a guy that I don't I might like to meet him. And I tend to be friendly with the guys I know, and I'm always happy to see a new friend on campus, etc.,
Play it cool and get to know her and her friends, see the groups she hangs out with, and if she talks to you a lot in the future, she might just find you easy to talk to. Seriously, girls flirt more than they think they do ;P
on the other hand, she might be into you and think you're cute and might not know how to get to know you better, sooo just get to know her, if you're really curious, you can just ask her.
If you've been friend-zoned, don't get offended, sometimes the friend-zone is the step before potential dating material
