Facebook custom privacy posts?

I want someone a specific person to see a post on Facebook. My question is if I set the post as custom and only add them to the specific group of people who can see it will they be notified that I included them. I don't want them to know that I wrote that post specifically for them that's all.

you can make a list with just that person in it, and use it for custom on a status, and the other person will just see that you shared it with "custom" and will not be able to tell he is the only one who can see it
