i want to delete my facebook account but my boyfriend will get mad if i do?

Basically, my boyfriend doesn't have a mobile phone, and when were not together physically we speak on Facebook messages and chat etc. But the past few months i've not been on facebook so much and weve been together alot recently and i already deleted my account once and he dm(DIRECT MESSAGED) me on twitter telling me that i have to reactivate it and he was pissed off that i would delete my account and stuff so i did what he said, but i honestly don't want it anymore! i can't stand all the problems and rumours that happen on it and i kinda do want a break from having to talk to him all the time when were not together. I don't know what to do, should i delete it and just hope he gets over it? :/ help?

Yes. It's your decision and he has to respect it. Just tell him why you want to delete it, and if you're spending more time with him there's no reason for you to have one anymore. If he doesn't get over it, tell him to stop being a little girl and dump him. Plus, it's better seeing each other in person rather than online.

If you want to delete it, I think you should. There are many alternate forms of communication besides facebook. Your boyfriend should be able to contact you other ways (as demonstrated by his use of DM on twitter), and that should not be a problem.

lilly don't let him rule you just tell him you are getting rid of facebook if he wants to talk to you he can always phone you make him do some legwork be your own person don't ever let someone make up your mind

Well you could deactivate your current facebook account with all your gossipping friends and create a new account and just add your boyfriend, and in this case you're both happy
You still have an account and there's no problems or rumours being spread online.
