My friend is possesive over my other friend (they are both girls) WHAT TO DO?

Okay so i have this friend named krystal and her bestfriends name is Gemma

They have been bestfriends for about 2 years now, and it's gone way out of hand. Gemma gets really jealous when Krystal talks to me, and she just storms off and calls krystal a bitch. One day i was talking to krystal, and Gemma went to the bathroom crying. I asked her if she was okay and she called me to "fuck off". So i did, but i wanted to know what i did wrong. She told me that i was "changing" and i was being a "bitch" to her. I didn't do anything to her that day.

Krystal tells me that Gemma get's really interested when Krystal is on her phone. Gemma would usually ask "who are you texting?" "are you trying to be hipster with your phone out?" "why are you texting them?" She also tries to cuddle Krystal in bed when they have sleepovers, even when krystal says stop, and that she feels un compfortable.

Gemma says she has biploa, but in recent cases i believe that's just an excuse for her obsession over krystal. Gemma tends to get very jealous if Krystal leaves her side, and she won't do anything on weekends without her.

I am very concerned for krystal, because Gemma get's angry and jealous over her and it's really doing her head in.

Last night Gemma said something about one direction and krystal replied on facebook "hahaha" Gemma went off at her and called Krystal a bitch for not keeping the convo going. about 1 hour later Gemma said sorry and told her that her "bipola" is bad. But then the other day Krystal came over to ME for about 2 seconds and Gemma called Krystal a dickhead and plomped her head on the desk..

Gemma just seems to be very possesive over krystal. I don't know if she's lesbian or just obsessive.

What do you guys think?

I also don't know what to do, because im concerned for Krystal..

tell Krystal that Gemma may have feeling for her and thats why Gemma gets mad when people are around her tell Krystal to talk to Gemma and tell he whats going on and that it's getting at of control also add Gemma control yourself or just stop hanging with us P.S be with Krystal at all times
