How can I create a website similar to facebook and generate money from it?

I need info on how to go about displaying ads on a website and generate money that way. The site is similar to facebook, but more useful to certain people. How do i do this? serious answers only!!

Start with the amount of money FaceBook did, hire the size staff FaceBook did, have them write and run the site the way FaceBook did and deposit the checks the way FaceBook did.

(Oh, the initial money? A few million, at least. A site like that is NOT a "start with 10 bucks, do it yourself" kind of thing.)
